Technical Service Officer

What you will enjoy doing

  • Coordinating daily workload of the workshop/service areas & ensure effective efficiencies are gained
  • You will be performing Medical Rental Equipment, monitoring, servicing & repairs as per Linde, regulatory guidelines, including relevant SAP and data entry to various databases daily as required
  • Furthermore, you will be maintaining a clean, safe working environment admin, technical work areas, warehousing & JFV
  • Performing services/exchanges that maximise efficiencies in line with manufacturer, regulatory bodies and Linde recommendations whilst optimizing service trip schedules metro & regional areas
  • You will maintain accurate physical and system consumable stock levels for service and warehouse areas and conduct monthly stocktakes of all inventoried items
  • Maintain high level technical & procedural support via various communication platforms including HTSP & the Gas & Gear network
  • Assisting with receipting & dispatching of goods
  • SAP, organize couriers, assist with load and Unload of vehicles
Proactively ensure that all relevant SAP & (Inventory Cylinder Control) ICC anomalies including Virtual Transactions (VT's) are identified and rectified

  • Work collaboratively with Customer Service and with other Technical Service Officer personnel to deliver a high level of service to our customers
  • Ensure training requirements are kept up to date

  • You have prior operations and technical knowledge experience advantageous.
  • Furthermore, hold or have the ability to obtain an electrical test and tag certification
  • You possess a forklift licence and a clean driver's history
  • Proficient with Windows based programs
  • Outlook, Excel, Word etc.

  • You have excellent communication, collaboration, prioritization, diagnosis, fault finding, problem solving and time management skills

As the Technical Service Officer, you will be responsible and accountable for the daily activities within the Technical Workshops & designated Service Area for our Preston and customer sites.

Ensuring all Safety, Service, Customer and Quality goals are met.

This role requires the successful applicant to hold a working with children and vulnerable people police check and also Flu and COVID 19 vaccinations
