The Role/Centre
Centrally located near St Kilda, our client is seeking a Diploma Qualified Early Childhood Educator for this unique role:

  • lots of variety
  • work with all age levels (
  • 5yr olds)
- responsible for planning the outdoor activities for each age group
- responsible for documenting the outdoor activities for the centre
- spend a day in each room throughout the week to cover each room leaders' planning day

  • 1/2 day per week planning for the outdoor activities
Join this team of experienced and passionate educators. The centre is run as a not-for-profit Incorporated Association and is managed by a committee of parent representatives.

They embrace an Emergent Curriculum where children are encouraged to focus on the journey of Belonging, Being and Becoming.

The Ideal Applicant

To be successful, you will have:

  • Min Diploma in Early Childhood Education or ACECQA approved equivalent
  • Working with children check
  • Current first aid, CPR, asthma and anaphylaxis certificates
  • Protecting Children & Mandatory Reporting certificate
  • Have experience with planning, ideally across a variety of age levels
  • Have a strong understanding of the EYLF and NQS
  • Have experience with Emergent Curriculum (preferred)
  • Be a team player
  • Have excellent communication skills written and verbal
