The OpportunityThe E7A Wedgetail provides world class airborne early warning and control capability to our Australian defence customer.

We are seeking a Principal Systems Engineer- Integration Lead to lead a team of System Administrators to ensure the ground systems are maintained and any changes to those systems are integrated in a controlled manner.

This role is based in

RAAF Base Williamtown .ResponsibilitiesApplying Systems Engineering to support the integration of complex engineering solutions into In-Service Ground SystemsDevelopment of engineering documentation and configuration management of system hardware infrastructureCoordinating with other design and specialty disciplines (e.g. software, hardware, safety, security and support system engineering) to ensure that your team's products are properly integrated into the solution and delivered in a way that meets the customer's needsConsulting with the project teams to ensure the engineering scope meets the requirements of sustainment Verifying and validating designs and products to ensure they meet operational and functional requirementsCollaboration across Boeing and industry to align BDA work methods with best practiceTechnical Leadership of the System Integration Team, management of tasks and technical riskGrowth and development of junior team members through mentoring.

Experience/QualificationsTertiary degree qualification in an engineering or related technical disciplineInformation Technology tertiary qualifications or relevant OEM technical certifications or Systems Administrator experience minimum of 5 yearsAn understanding of Systems Engineering principles and lifecycle management with experience in Systems Engineering and/or systems integration in a complex project environment essentialExperience in technical problem solving essentialApplicants must be Australian Citizens to meet defence security requirements.
