About the role:


We are looking for an Asset Performance Specialist who will provide technical guidance and leadership in presenting the reliability and performance of our assets.

This is a newly created position where you can bring your asset management and reliability skills to the table.


You will contribute to building a greater understanding of how our assets are performing through investigation and data analytics and using contemporary visualisations of that reliability and performance to internal and external stakeholders, with a key focus in PiAF, Pi Vision and advanced Power BI presentation.


What the role will involve:

  • Lead asset reliability analytics, monitoring and reporting to support asset management investment decisions.
  • Lead, coordinate and undertake asset and system investigations and analysis to determine root cause of systemic issues related to asset performance, risk or operational indicators and provide input into investment solutions.
  • Support and influence the implementation of Reliability Engineering approaches including Reliability Centred Maintenance, defect elimination and condition monitoring.
  • Investigate data quality issues and provide technical advice and support on data improvement initiatives.
  • Lead, coordinate and undertake proactive monitoring and forecast analysis, and develop and maintain reporting related to asset and system performance, risk and/or demand indicators to support investment decisions.
  • Monitor, assess, compile and publish asset and system performance reports on progress against defined and agreed business objectives within the strategic reporting framework and asset investment effectiveness.
  • Lead, coordinate and/or undertake analysis to develop predictive modelling approaches and outputs to support asset and system risk and performance forecasts.

Key skills and experience:

Your ability to build and drive positive and collaborative relationships with internal stakeholders will be important in this role. You will lead and support the management of project teams to support the delivery of section and business units.

You believe your experience and knowledge in reliability; condition monitoring and asset performance monitoring activities is second to none.

Along with your strong background in data and information analytics gives you the insights to continually improve ways of working.
