Our Family:

  • We are a family of five, me (mum), dad, Mr 6, Mr 5 and Miss 3 We run a few businesses which keep us very busy, and to add to that I (mum) am having surgery which will see me spending a lot of time in bed resting. Which i struggle to do at the best of times, but must follow the doctor's orders. Which is what brings me here... We're looking for someone who can help out for three hours per day, Monday to Friday for three weeks commencing 27th May while I recover. We are a relaxed, fun and energetic family. We've had a couple of nannies in the past both for 12 months or more and we keep in touch with them. Essentially, i'm trying to say, i think we're a great family to work with

Your Duties:

  • We're looking for someone who can help out for three hours per day, Monday to Friday for three weeks commencing 27th May while I recover from surgery. I will be home, but unable to be on my feet through the day so am looking for someone who can come over either mornings from 6.30am until 9.30am or 3.30pm until 6.30pm to help keep the household moving while i am unable to. Kids are out of the house between 8am and 5pm so 1.5 hours of the day would include assisting the kids to get ready for school (breakfast, packing bags, lunch boxes, teeth brushed and helping hustle them into the car), and 1.5 hours would be to tidy the house, unstack the dishwasher, fold washing, put washing away, cook dinner, put groceries away, vacuum, wipe down kitchen. If helping out in the evening, 3.30pm until 5pm would be the household duties listed above. 5pm until 6.30pm would be to help with dinner, bath and preparing for bed. If you are seeking a longer term role, we would be interested in offering this after the initial three weeks.

Our Perfect Caregiver:

  • Our kids are pretty easy going, someone with a sense of humour and who is playful would suit them well. I am not the micro manager type but can provide a clear list of what i need help with generally. Just need someone who can come in and see what needs doing each day and get into it.
