The Role


As the Operations Team Leader you play a key role in by providing leadership and support to the Operations Team and the operational effectiveness of the store operations and delivering to the needs of our customers.

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Provide leadership to the Operations team developing team member knowledge and capability through coaching, training and performance feedback
  • Manage and monitor team achievement against daily work plans, in particular lead daily meetings and ensure the timely and accurate completion of tasks.
  • Execute efficient bank of house (BOH) processing of inbound supplier deliveries, purchase orders receipting, store replenishments, customer deliveries and customer collections.
  • Support achievement of key operational targets such as inventory management, cost, safety and service
  • Work proactively and collaboratively with third party carriers to ensure timely and safe performance of transport related activities (e.g. home deliveries, store transfers)

About you
This is a hands-on role where you will collaborate with many internal teams and external stakeholders and as such, your customer focus and ability to build relationships will be key to the success of this role

You will also possess:

  • 2 years operations warehouse experience, desired
  • Demonstrated team leadership experience
  • Understand of OH&S and Safe Manual Handling Practices
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
