DXC Technology is presently seeking a Toht Analyst Developer to be based in Brisbane.
Reporting to the Practice Partner - Smart Meter Data Management Practice, you will be responsible for software design and development, unit-testing and preparation of documentation as directed.
Provision of technical input to sales activities, and the maintenance on and support of systems as designated.This role will involve:
- Participation in Product development strategy.
- Production of customer Business Requirements and System Functional Specifications, including the running of user workshops and converting of business requirements into system specifications.
- Participation in Architectural / High Level Design activities.
- Production of detailed design and code to implement specifications in accordance with quality procedures, architecture requirements and coding standards.
- Review and provide feedback on applicable quality procedures.
- Production and execution of Unit Test Plans.
- Participation in infrastructure setup and system rollouts on client sites.
- Participation in infrastructure setup and development environment setup / maintenance internally.
- Participation in quality system reviews, documentation and refinement of quality processes.
- Ongoing contribution to product support and systems developed
- Understanding and translation of customer business requirements
- Maintenance of relevant technical expertise and skill sets
The skills you will bring:
This role requires broad technical experience including;
- Oral and written communication skills
- Experience with Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, Forms and Reports Programming,
- Experience with Microsoft Office productivity tools, e.g.; Word, Excel and Visio
- Formal qualifications in Information technology
- Oracle Development/Database Certification
- At least 5 years' experience in programming
- Knowledge of Utility industries (Electricity, Gas, Water), Meter Data Management and Billing
- Client/Vendor liaison experience
- Unrestricted work rights in Australia
