The Opportunity


The Learning Experience Analyst will support improvements to the quality of the end-to-end learning experience in the short course and custom portfolios.

They will integrate relevant digital tools to support the wider business - including design, student support and business development - to use the gathered data to identify learner patterns that will ultimately help drive decision-making to increase learner engagement, satisfaction and success.


They will also use interactive data visualisation software to develop data storytelling methods that will power the Learning Transformation continuous improvement process.


Key responsibilities will include:

  • Help develop an evidencebased method that interrogates whether and how the MBS Online Signature Pedagogy translates into a positive Learner Experience (LX) in the MBS Online short course and custom portfolios.
  • Support the learning design and student success teams to evaluate and improve all pedagogical and technological aspects of MBS Online learning experience across all three product verticals using data analysis techniques such as predictive/prescriptive analytics, machine learning, etc.
  • Develop a methodology eg. mixed method approach for communicating a compelling learner experience narrative based on data and analytics across all three MBS Online product verticals short courses, custom as well as online award programs.
  • Effectively communicate insights using narrative and visualisation to drive largescale improvements and collective responses to opportunities for change that will improve learning outcomes in all Learning Innovation product verticals.

About you

  • You'll be passionate about all things data and learning. You will be familiar with online learning as well as learning experience analysis, evaluation and solution traversing these spaces in order to ensure that MBS learners are satisfied with their learning experience while simultaneously feeling more confident and capable as a result of the undertaking and completing their studies with MBS Online.
  • You should be inquisitive, and openminded and by supporting the team keen to create superb learning experiences. In this busy role, no two days will be the same, so you'll be comfortable prioritizing a busy workload whilst developing relationships with multiple stakeholders.

Ideally, you'll also have:

  • Tertiary qualification in a cognate area such as educational evaluation, analytics, statistics or equivalent working experience.
  • Experience working in analytics, reporting or data engineering functions.
  • Confidence in using data visualisation tools such as Tableau.
  • Ability to articulate a clear and compelling vision for the future of evaluation and continuous improvement that others can relate to and connect to their daytoday operations in a meaningful manner.
  • Highlevel verbal and interpersonal skills with the demonstrated ability to collaborate, consult and negotiate with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders.
