Working as part of the Community Capacity Building team, you will oversee the administration of the City's Community Grants program and Tertiary Scholarship Scheme.

You will guide, support and assist community groups, organisations and individuals to access and acquit City grant funding, and you will assist to regularly review and evaluate the City's Community Grants programs.

You will also provide a central point of contact for enquiries, support and advice relating to community grant funding and scholarships, for both internal and external stakeholders

You are a self-motivated individual with an understanding of community grants programs and principles. You are experienced in financial management, and working and consulting with key stakeholders. Your administration, written and verbal communication skills are well developed, and you have excellent attention to detail.

You can prioritise work, multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment. You have relevant tertiary qualification and a current "C" class driver's licence.

  • Understanding of community grants programs and principles
  • Experience working and consulting with community groups, organisations and individuals and providing ongoing support, guidance and assistance
  • Excellent administrative skills and attention to detail
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including report writing
  • Tertiary Qualifications in Community Development, Social Science or related field
We are offering a gross salary of
$82,627 per annum and:

  • 11% superannuation with the option to co-contribute up to a further 5%
  • A variety of health and wellbeing programs
  • Flexible working arrangements, including rostered days off and two additional paid days of absence per annum

  • Salary packaging opportunities for motor vehicles, etc.
