The Role
- Incident Management and road maintenance inspection
- Reporting to an Asset Engineer, you will be responsible for the inspection of road assets, to ensure quality of service and reduce the risk of claims.
- Monday to Friday
- 7 to 4 (Potential for occasional night shift)
This role would be suit:
- Traffic Controllers with good roads construction knowledge
- Rideshare / Truck drivers seeking to break into the civil construction industry
- Roads construction labourers seeking to get off the tools
Key Duties
- Inspect road assets including drains, culverts, street furniture, gates, street signs, landscaping and assess condition against given criteria. This could involve walking across steep embankments or through heavily vegetated areas.
- Create and issue corrective work orders liaising with supervisors and crew to highlight issues and locations
- Reporting issues and processing orders through IPad
- Auditing / QA of closed corrective activities
- Updating asset inventory
Requirements:
- Prior experience in asset inspections
- Understanding TMR Assets would be held in high regard
- Tertiary Education would be held in high regarded
- C Class Drivers Licence
- Strong Communication
- Attention to detail
- Unrestricted Australian working rights
