Junior Graphic Designer - Olympics and Paralympic Games (Casual)

This position is for a Junior Graphic Designer specializing in the Olympics and Paralympic Games, on a casual basis in Sydney, Australia.

In this role, you will play a key part in producing attractive thumbnails and graphics for live streaming and catch-up sports content. Proficiency in digital design tools like Figma and Photoshop is essential, with a keen interest in sports media being advantageous.

Responsibilities Include But Won't Be Limited To:

  • Designing and developing thumbnails and graphics for live and VOD content to increase viewer engagement.
  • Collaborating with livestreaming and sports teams to create visually compelling content.
  • Offering graphic support to wider Sports editorial and programming teams.
  • Utilizing design software such as Figma and Photoshop to craft high-quality digital artwork.
  • Managing and organizing a large volume of digital files and assets for easy retrieval by other teams, maintaining efficient workflows and file system organization.
  • Attending team meetings to stay informed, report any errors or issues, and escalate when needed to ensure smooth operations.
  • Cataloging imagery and digital assets effectively to support current and future programming needs.
  • Conducting quality control checks on all graphics and visuals to ensure they align with 9Now's brand standards and uphold high visual quality.
  • Ensuring all graphics and layouts adhere to 9Now's brand.

Additional Details:

This role requires availability for overnight shifts to align with the Olympic/Paralympic Games. A portfolio link is needed in your application.

Figma experience is highly desired.
