Two Days with Twins

Job Description:
Our Family:
- We are a family of four with beautiful boy/girl twins who will be three in August. Our family includes three friendly and cuddly dogs (two cavaliers and a border collie). Our son is level 2 ASD, however his challenges are mainly communication and some sensory preferences. He doesn't have any mood or emotional issues that aren't usual for a two year old. He will need a bit of extra attention to engage him in activities (that aren't TV). Our daughter is a bubbly little girl who loves to play and draw. We have a dedicated kids area in the house and a backyard with lots of activities.
Your Duties:
- Duties will include caring for the children while my husband and I work on Tuesdays I may be working from home on Tuesdays so will be available if needed. On Wednesdays I will be home not working but taking our son to therapy and running errands so our daughter will need caring for at home. You will be required to prepare basic meals for morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea and maybe get dinner started for me on the odd occasion. Doing a quick tidy up of the kids area at the end of the day would be required and maybe put on a load of the kids washing if needed. I would expect that you play with the children, they have lots of toys and equipment. Some TV is fine.
Our Perfect Caregiver:
- Our ideal caregiver is someone patient and gentle who ideally has experience caring for children with additional needs such as ASD. They will be happy to play with the children both inside and outside in the yard. Being comfortable with dogs is a must as they are members of the family and will be in the house.
