Description

We are seeking a Lead Testing Engineer who will be responsible for implementing testing strategies to ensure quality deliverables.

What Youll Do

Develop and implement testing strategies, methodologies, and processes to ensure comprehensive test coverage and high-quality deliverables Lead, mentor, and manage a team of testers, providing appropriate guidance, support, and training Collaborate with project managers, developers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements, timelines, and priorities, and align testing activities with project plans Establish test objectives, scope, and criteria, and create detailed test plans, cases, and scripts to verify software functionality, performance, and reliability Coordinate and prioritize testing activities, use resources effectively, and track progress to ensure prompt and efficient delivery of test results Execute functional, regression, performance, and user acceptance tests using both manual and automated techniques Analyze test results, identify defects, and suggest areas for improvement. Collaborate with development teams for issue diagnosis, fix verification, and prompt resolution Maintain and document all test-related artifacts, and communicate the findings, progress, and recommendations to project teams and stakeholders

What You Have

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; Masters degree preferred 10+ years' experience in software testing, with 4+ years in a leadership or management role Strong knowledge of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices Experience with test management tools (e.g., Jira, HP Quality Center, TestRail) and test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, HP UFT) Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results Certification in software testing (e.g., ISTQB Certified Tester) is a plus
