About the Position

Our Norwest Private Hospital practice offers a wide range of ultrasound services, these include General Ultrasound, MSK, Obstetric, Vascular, Paediatrics and image guided procedures. The hospital environment will expose you toa wide variety of examinations and sub-specialisations, including a growing Emergency Department, and theatre service. You will liaise closely with doctors and other medical professional within the hospital, to ensure high-quality images which enable superior reports, leading to excellent patient outcome. Alongside our team you will supply excellent customer service, in accordance with PRP values. PRP are investing in technology and process that delivers improvement to reporting service and patient experience, this differentiates us from our competitors and gives our customers the experience they deserve.

About You

You must have a reputation for performing high quality Ultrasound examinations independently whilst providing exceptional patient care. You must have the ability to communicate effectively with patients, staff and other medical and non-medical personnel. Experience working within a hospital environment would be highly regarded. In addition, you must have:

  • Qualification in Diagnostic Medical Ultrasound and current accreditation with the Australian Sonographer Accreditation Registry (ASAR)
  • Competent in General, Small parts, MSK, Obstetrics and vascular imaging
  • demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with patients, staff and external stakeholders
