Fulton Hogan Industries Pty Ltd is looking for an Accounting Graduate to join the 2024 Graduate Program in Brisbane.

What your day-to-day could look like:

Working with all levels of management, you will be exposed to a wide range of accounting functions, including: management accounting, financial reporting, job costings, month-end processes, budgeting, indirect taxes and internal auditing.

This will provide you with a unique range of learning and development opportunities that will help you to see the big-picture behind the numbers and understand how we build and manage critical infrastructure that connects communities and helps us to shape a better world.


To further your accounting qualifications, we support you with professional development, practical experience and mentoring towards a CA or CPA qualification.


What we need from you:

  • A relevant tertiary qualification in Accounting, with a desire to gain a CA or CPA qualification.
  • Welldeveloped written and verbal communication skills.
  • A high degree of enthusiasm and drive, with a strong desire to deliver positive outcomes as part of a team.
  • A practical mindset, with a handson approach to getting things done.
  • Due to the large geographic spread of our business units and transient project requirements, it is a requirement that you are flexible with travel throughout your Graduate Program.


About the role- Assist with the preparation of monthly financial reports and general accounting tasks.- Work closely with department/project managers to support with monitoring of costs, month end reviews and Profit & Loss analysis.- Assist with the capital and operating budgeting and forecasting process.- Gain an understanding and experience across AP/AR, balance sheet reconciliations, preparation of FBT returns, as well as systems and processes used across the operations.- Rotate around the Fulton Hogan business and gain an understanding of various areas of the business.- Contribute to continual improvement in accounting efficiency and utilisation of effective management control tools.
