An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Environmental and Operational Sustainability Manager to join our client's team.

In this role, the successful candidate will play a critical role in advancing sustainability initiatives and driving operational excellence within the organization.

Key Responsibilities Develop and

Implement Sustainability Strategies:
Lead the development and implementation of comprehensive sustainability strategies aligned with the company's values and business objectives.

Integrate Environmental Considerations:
Integrate environmental considerations into decision-making processes and performance evaluation criteria across all business functions.

Circular Economy Initiatives:
Drive circular economy initiatives to minimize waste generation, optimize resource utilization, and promote product lifecycle sustainability.

Climate Resilience Planning:
Develop climate resilience strategies to assess and mitigate climate-related risks across operations and client portfolios.

Sustainable Supply Chain Management:
Promote sustainable supply chain management practices, enhancing transparency, ethical sourcing, and environmental performance.

Renewable Energy Adoption:
Champion renewable energy adoption and energy efficiency measures within operations and client engagements.

Stakeholder Engagement:
Engage with internal and external stakeholders to drive alignment and commitment to sustainability goals.

Performance Monitoring and Reporting:
Establish metrics and reporting mechanisms to monitor progress against sustainability targets and communicate performance internally and externally.

Innovation and Thought Leadership:
Drive innovation and thought leadership in environmental sustainability, staying abreast of emerging trends and best practices.

Capacity Building:

Develop and deliver training programs to build internal capabilities in sustainability, empowering teams to integrate sustainability principles into their work.


Regulatory Compliance:
Advocate for regulatory compliance and industry standards adherence related to environmental sustainability.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Lead cross-functional teams to implement sustainability initiatives and drive continuous improvement in environmental stewardship and operational efficiency.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Business Administration, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
Minimum of 8 years of experience in sustainability management, environmental consulting, or related fields.
Strong understanding of environmental regulations, industry standards, and best practices.
Proven leadership skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Analytical mindset with proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools.
Passion for sustainability and commitment to driving positive environmental impact.
