Position Overview:

The job role of the Buyers Assistant is a highly administrative role, providing essential support to the buying team.

Key Responsibilities
-
Creation and maintenance of product SKU's, purchase orders & delivery schedules

  • Run weekly sales reports in preparation for trade meeting
  • Liaising with suppliers on timely delivery of stock
  • Manage markdown and promotion upload
  • Manage launches calendar
  • Distribution and management of store communications
  • Distribution and management of store communications
inclusive of product launches, activations, price changes and markdowns

  • Manage positive and productive relationships with suppliers, internal and external stakeholders
  • Prepare Post seasonal review packs prior to market
  • Resolution of queries pertaining to warehouse deliveries, including special deliveries and invoice discrepancy investigations
  • Act as the first point of contact for Marketing and eCommerce Executives regarding product or brand queries
  • Managing interstore transfers
  • Order form creation and maintenance
  • Assisting the Buying Team with any ad hoc tasks

Required Competencies

  • Minimum 1 year experience as a Buyers Assistant or similar role
