Melbourne, Victoria, Australia Kilsyth Early Learning Full time

Kilsyth Early Learning Centre is dedicated to cultivating a holistic and nurturing approach to the Childcare and Kindergarten sector, but we couldn't do it without our incredible team.

We're on the lookout for an experienced
Lead Educator in Early Education for our
Nursery
room who wants to contribute to the continued success of our brand and customer experience to join our family

Our
Kilsyth
centre is opening October and operates from 7:00AM, to 6:30PM.

The centre features natural play environments, open plan rooms, age-appropriate learning resources and separate playgrounds, and indoor and outdoor areas.

_About your new career:
_

You're passionate about working with children and bringing magic and enchantment into their lives. You're looking forward to joining a centre that provides you the tools and resources to make that special difference. You value providing a high-quality environment and service to your team, families and children.

You're excited to work with a leadership team who cares about your centre as much as you do, says "yes" when you ask for the resources you need and welcomes your ideas and input because we know _you _make the difference in the way our parents and children feel.

A little about you:

You're an experienced Educator who is passionate and dedicated to high-quality care with a collaborative leadership style. Your programming is focused on encouraging our children to be independent learners and help build their resilience and self-awareness.

You utilise conversations with the children to develop their inquisitive minds and therefore creating the basis of your program and the children's learning journey with us.

You also have:

  • A Diploma in Early Childhood Education (or working towards)
  • A current Working with Children Check
  • An understanding of both the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS)
  • Australian Working Rights
  • Excellent personal presentation
  • Confidence in collaborating with our families and the local community

Perks of the role:

  • A generous salary and benefits package
  • A wellstocked and equipped centre
  • Flexible working arrangements
  • 5 weeks of annual leave
  • Up to 95% off childcare fees
  • Funded First Aid, Anaphylaxis, CPR and Asthma Certifications
  • Financial support for ongoing education: fully paid Certificate III and Diploma qualifications, and assistance for Bachelor's Degrees
  • Referral system that pays you to refer your family and friends
  • Exchange programs with other centres for mentoring and networking
  • The opportunity to transfer to other centres in our group

Some insight into us:

Kilsyth ELC is not your everyday Childcare & Kindergarten and we mean it, this is our difference. We will provide you the resources you need to create a welcoming, respectful and safe environment in your centre. Our approach focuses on nurturing our children's curiosity through holistic programming and natural play. We commit to encouraging and supporting their physical and emotional development and social wellbeing.

You will get support from a team who cares about your centre as much as you do, and we don't forget to have fun along the way.

We are not only invested in our children's journey with us, but your professional journey too.

It's important to us that we create a place where you feel you belong, a place you can call home away from home.

Where to next?

  • Kilsyth ELC is committed to ensuring the health and safety of all who attend the centres that we operate. We accept responsibility to provide, so far as is reasonably practicable, a workplace that is safe and without risk to health for all team members, children and members of the broader community._
