    Job description:
  • We are working with an expanding Design and Engineering consultancy who are looking to recruit a Drafter for their team based on the Gold Coast. Our client work across a number of engineering and environmental projects with some of Australia's largest Energy, Transport, Mining, and Local Government organisations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with our design and engineering teams to translate conceptual sketches and ideas into detailed 2D and 3D drawings.
  • Create accurate and comprehensive technical drawings, including schematics, plans, and layouts, while adhering to industry standards and regulations.
  • Participate in design reviews and discussions, offering insights and suggestions to enhance the overall design and manufacturability.
  • Revise drawings based on feedback from crossfunctional teams, ensuring alignment with project goals and objectives.
  • Assist in the preparation of documentation and presentations for client meetings and project proposals.

Key Skills:

  • 2+ Years Experience in drafting/design on infrastructure or civil projects.
  • Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, etc.) to create detailed technical drawings
  • Bulk Earthworks, Culverts, Pipe Networks, Creek Rehabilitation, Detention Basins, Dams, Erosion and Sediment Controls
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to spot discrepancies in designs or drawings.
  • Effective communication skills to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and present ideas clearly.
  • Problemsolving aptitude to address design challenges and develop innovative solutions.
