Our Opportunity
Due to exponential growth, Nepean Power is currently seeking an Apprentice Boilermaker to join the team. This opportunity is a full-time permanent opportunity based in Thornton, NSW. Daily duties will include however are not limited to;

  • Learn to manufacture, press, weld, grind, drill and polish to trade requirements.
  • Fabricate all work in accordance with job sheets and drawings.
  • Learn to study blueprints, drawing and specifications to determine job requirements.
  • Providing high quality workmanship on time and on budget.
  • Ensure all equipment, machinery and tooling is kept in good working order.
  • Document control and progress reporting.
  • Liaise with supervisor to set priorities and meet deadlines.

  • Drivers License
  • Completed/completing the HSC or Pre-Apprenticeship course
  • A genuine interest in pursuing a career in the manufacturing industry.
  • Organisational and time management skills
  • High attention to detail
