You will be responsible for building and nurturing relationships within the key electrical contractors and the ecosystem they operate in. As the Business Development Manager, you will listen to their drivers, requirements and constraints and help to propose the best solution.

Responsibilities

  • Manage strategic customer accounts in a timely manner utilizing Schneider Electric core values.
  • Account Management of key MV contractors by offering technical & commercial support to increase Schneider's presence, and to represent Schneider business at all organizational levels in channel.
  • Assist customers in the evaluation and definition of Schneider Electric MV products and solutions with consideration for requirements and constraints.
  • Support other internal businesses in cross-business pursuits to help grow your key customers
  • Passion for technology underpinning medium voltage switchgear, smart Grids & new energy landscape.
  • Liaise with key electrical contractors by providing technical support, solution selling, product launch/promotion presentations and leading a technology mindset.
  • Articulation to customers on the technical features and business benefits of a proposed solution
  • Curiosity to keep learning to further enhance your development & career around smart technology.
  • Creation of value and differentiation to customers where relevant.

Ideal Candidate

  • Minimum of 8 years of work experience within the medium voltage / HV industry
  • Electrical Engineering degree or equivalent qualifications in an electrical application field
  • Demonstrated experience working with internal stakeholders to coordinate bid strategies and leveraging contacts within Infrastructure, Grid & Contracting space.
  • Demonstrated experience collaborating within matrix teams, in drive winning strategies to success.
  • Passion for learning new technologies & key trends driving our business.
