About the Role:

As the Contracts and Grants Manager, you will be responsible for managing the contract and grant processes during the temporary reassignment of a current staff member.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a variety of contract and grant programs and agreements
  • Oversee the EOFY variation process with precision
  • Handle government procurement and tender processes, including assessments
  • Maintain and enhance relationships with grant recipients and potential applicants
  • Balance complex and competing timeframes across multiple projects
  • Report on grant, contract, and project progress to internal and external stakeholders
  • Forecast cash flow within existing budget frameworks

About You:

  • Recent experience in contract and grant management across various projects within state government (essential)
  • Strong attention to detail in managing grant programs and agreements
  • Proficiency in government procurement and tender processes
  • Effective communication skills for managing relationships with grant recipients and applicants
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects and meet competing deadlines
  • Proven experience in reporting progress to key stakeholders
  • Financial acumen to accurately forecast cash flow within budget constraints

Requirements:

  • National Police Clearance: Must have a current clearance.
  • Availability: Commitment for the full 9-month duration.
  • Location: Adelaide CBD (with potential work-from-home options).
