Lead a team of Disability Support Workers within our SIL program. This is an amazing career opportunity for someone with leadership experience, at level 4 under the SCHADS Award, based in Western Sydney.

About the role


Leading a team of Disability Support Workers within our SIL Program in Western Sydney, you will supervise service delivery across multiple houses in St Clair.

Your job will be to ensure people with disability are enabled to maximise choice and control, whilst employees are actively supporting services to be safe and compliant.

This is a permanent full-time position and an opportunity to join a forward-thinking organisation where you will demonstrate your leadership experience in the disability sector and focus on strength-based practice and empowerment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead staff to embed person centred practice, focus on quality of life; and Deliver safe, enabling support
  • Plan, coordinate and facilitate meetings for staff, clients and their families, where appropriate
  • Lead and mentor Disability Support Workers to continuously improve Disability Support Services
  • Deliver person centred active support, codesign practice innovations and support practice uplift
  • Facilitate a partnership approach to engaging with families and other stakeholders.

Skills & Experience

  • Experience in a leadership position managing multiple Supported Independent Living houses
  • Proven skills in supporting people with high support needs behaviourally and physically
  • Diploma or degree in relevant Social & Community Services or relevant experience
  • Current Australian unrestricted Drivers Licence
  • Established influencing and negotiation skills
  • Relevant First Aid and CPR certifications
