We are proud to be partnering with Indigenous Business Australia on a Senior Investment Operations role. IBA was created to assist and enhance the economic development opportunities of First Nations people across Australia. The IBA Investment & Asset Management program aims to promote self-management, self-sufficiency and economic independence for Fist Nations people by providing Indigenous organisations with access to investment opportunities.
The Fund Products team is a small, highly experienced team where you will get exposure to all areas of Investment Operations, Product Management and Fund Compliance. The team is made up of 6 dedicated investment professionals and this role will report directly to the Head of Fund Products, who's been with IBA for 10 years and has over 15 years experiences in Funds Management.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the Head of Fund Products with portfolio management of the diversified investment portfolio
  • Day to day management for product management, fund operations and compliance
  • Preparation of internal management reports and investor performance reports
  • Assist with the management of funds in accordance to their purpose and obligations to investors
  • Preparation of budgets and forecasts

Skills and Experience:

  • Minimum 8 years' experience from funds management from fund operations and product management
  • Knowledge around fund compliance, governance and the regulatory landscape
  • High level of attention to detail and the ability to drive process improvement and implementation
  • A strong communicator, and the ability to produce high quality reports for boards, senior management, and investors
  • Experience in financial reporting, modelling, performance analysis and client reporting

The successful candidate will also have an awareness of the economic development aspirations of and commitment to working ethically with First Nations people.
