About Matrix Implementations
The Matrix Implementation Team is responsible for the installation and deployment of Matrix and related products and services, globally.

A typical implementation is at least as much about processes and implementing change as it is about investments & technology.


Key Responsibilities

  • Understand customer objectives to deliver on solutions using Matrix/Rimes capabilities
  • Engage the Customer to understand, redesign, and deploy strategic business workflows across the full spectrum of the investment cycle
  • Work directly with the Customer to build and coordinate the implementation project plan
  • Lead and document investment and operational workflow design sessions for various asset classes, including equities, fixed income, alternatives, derivatives, and related workflows
  • Lead, coordinate, and assist in customerspecific Matrix configuration, testing and user training
  • Work closely with the Customer and Matrix Product team to support customer development needs
  • Work closely with the Customer and key internal team members to ensure the full range of capabilities are considered during a Matrix implementation to ensure standard methodologies are achieved
  • Aid in developing improved practices to make the Implementation model more efficient with each new implementation

Qualifications

  • Experience implementing scalable and repeatable business processes especially on investment data management platforms and/or trading platforms
  • Strong technical skills (see below)
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with proven ability to build relationships with internal groups and customers
  • Superior communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts simply and clearly to customers
  • Well organized with the ability to manage several priorities with a handson approach
  • Excellent creative, analytical and computer skills with an entrepreneurial approach to large, complex projects, and ability to execute autonomously
  • Enjoys a fast paced, highintensity and complex environment, troubleshooting time critical issues and working with people
  • Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills
  • Strong attention to detail; willing to take proactive action, and desire to roll up sleeves
  • Expected to travel periodically, including international opportunities

Technical Skills Required

Essential:

  • Microsoft SQL Server and proficiency in T-SQL
  • A programming language eg.
NET, or a scripting language such as Python or Perl

  • Excel

Useful:

VBA

  • XML
  • Json
  • C#
  • Familiarity with Azure
  • A full understanding of the investment lifecycle
