Bosch Australia's Vehicle Motion team is responsible for the development of hardware and software systems that improve vehicle safety and agility for our mostly automotive customers. Our customer base is global having engineered projects and solutions for Europe, North America, China, Japan, Malaysia and Korea.

Job Description

We are currently seeking a passionate and enthusiastic leader to join us as a V & V - Test and Lab Manager to lead the team and their responsibilities in the validation of embedded software control systems. This is a permanent, full-time opportunity based at our Head Office in Clayton and may involve occasional domestic and international travel.

Position responsibilities will include:

  • Leading and developing the Software Engineering Test Team to meet future business needs, including driving, mentoring and skill development of individuals.
  • Managing the embedded software engineering test resources, including human resources, test equipment and other test tools.
  • Collaborating with own team to overcome challenges and increase efficiency of the test process, while ensuring compliance with Bosch test and data security process.
  • Representing the Australian team within the global Bosch V&V network to ensure best practice and processes are communicated and followed.
  • Identifying growth opportunities for test activities and driving project success for our broader division.
  • Driving ontime completion of project test deliverables, meeting both Bosch and customer requirements.

Qualifications

We are looking for a passionate, results-driven professional with the ability to engage across multiple business units to establish effective relationships which foster opportunities for new projects.

To be considered for this position you will need to demonstrate the following:

  • Bachelor of Engineering in mechatronics, electronics or a related field
  • Experience in leading and managing the validation and testing of embedded control systems and team members.
  • Experience in both Waterfall and Agile methodology.
  • Knowledge of V&V methodology and process.
  • Knowledge of embedded control systems.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Results driven, ambitious, agile, motivated, and independent.
  • High level communication/negotiation & presentation skills.
