We have an exciting opportunity for people who have experience within the claims industry with a passion for delivering exceptional customer service to join our Motor Claims team as an Assessing Coordinator.

This fast-paced customer focused role is the central point for assessment and towing related queries from customers and providers.

The Assessing Coordinator works directly with assessors, tow providers, our repairer network and customers to ensure that claims progress smoothly through the assessment and repair process, supporting customers to get back on the road sooner.

The role requires autonomy, excellent time management, initiative, and adaptability.

Whilst predominantly desk based, during times of major weather events there will be a requirement to take part in assessment centres.

Excellence in customer service is a non-negotiable, as management of customer queries and complaints is a key component of the role.


This role is based at our either our Mt Waverley or Essendon Fields office and will operate a hybrid working arrangement allowing you to work from the comfort of your own home, 2-3 days per week. The standard hours for this role are 8am-4pm.

What you'll do

  • Coordinate assessment bookings and ensure claims are correctly pathed for assessment.
  • Assist with assessing and towing related queries from claims teams, customers, repairers and providers.
  • Provide administrative support including quote management.
  • Coordinate any post assessment and repair activities for the customer
  • Work closely with towing provider partners to ensure SLAs are met.
  • Identifying key areas for improvement based on the job experience.

What you'll bring

  • Motor Claims or Claims experience preferred.
  • Passion for customers and delivering exceptional service
  • The ability to multitask and have outstanding time management skills
  • Strong attention to detail and can work well under pressure
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to tailor communication to the audience to articulate complexity
  • Ability to use customer and commercial acumen to enhance business performance
  • Knowledge of Claim Centre and MS Office Suite
