Applications are invited for the permanent full-time position of the Director role with Digital and Virtual Learning team within the Rural, Remote and Strategic Initiatives Branch.

Digital and Virtual Learning is an innovative and future-focussed portfolio, with the Directorproviding strategic leadership, governance and oversight to each of the following project areas:
Queensland Virtual Academy
Digital learning

About the Role

The successful candidate will lead the ongoing development of key strategies related to Digital and Virtual Learning, and lead the governance and quality assurance of all of activities within Digital and Virtual Learning to support the delivery of future focussed learning for students.

The role requires a high degree of leadership, management and accountability for project governance, and communication, and presents an exciting opportunity to contribute to equity and excellence through the delivery of digital and virtual learning projects.

A high degree of strategic thinking, excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills, and the ability to quality assure correspondence, resources, and project documentation.

The ideal candidate will have some background and experience in supporting the capability development of teachers, delivering quality resources to support system leaders, school leaders and teachers state-wide.
