We do more than collect the bin from your street, we also convert waste into clean energy, divert food waste from landfill and convert to compost, manufacture customised waste management equipment, asbestos removal, refine and recycle oil, manage and maintain our fleet inhouse and have our own bespoke technology systems.

Our teams include Drivers/Operators, Heavy Vehicle Mechanics, Customer Service, Operations, Finance, IT/Digital, Environment, Engineering, Industrial Chemists, Safety, Administration and much more . . .

ABOUT THIS ROLE

As the Transport Operations Officer / Scheduler, your role is pivotal to daily operations and service delivery.

Reporting to the Operations Supervisor, you will be the conduit between the operational and administrative functions of our Stapylton business.

On the front line of operations, your duties will include; scheduling and coordinating local and linehaul truck movements, liaising with customers and drivers daily, assisting with driver training needs, maintaining fleet data and files to ensure compliance with NHVR guidelines, and helping with various operational/admin data entry tasks as required. You will be working with a safe, modern and reliable fleet, serviced and maintained in our on-site workshops.

ABOUT YOU

  • Transport scheduling experience will be favoured
  • Intermediate computer skills required – capable with MS Excel
  • Proven time management skills and ability to effectively prioritise
  • Promote a safe and respectful work environment and ensure all regulatory requirements and company procedures are adhered to.
  • Sound written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to problem solve, and work within a team environment to resolve unforeseen issues
  • Administer fatigue management system certification (TLIF0006) would be an advantage
  • Be dedicated to achieving high standards of safety compliance
  • Well-developed people and relationship skills
