About the Opportunity


Reporting to the Deputy Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the coordination and management of collection rosters, in addition to supporting collection staff with day to day operational matters, helpdesk enquiries and general support.

You will be allocated a specific geographical region to manage and will work with other Coordinators and Territory Managers to effectively manage rosters, people and the delivery of high quality services.

This involves a high attention to detail as well as the ability to take direction and follow instructions. In addition, you will assist the rostering team with Kronos implementation and troubleshooting. This is an exceptional opportunity to gain valuable experience as we roll out our new rostering system.

Duties:

  • Enter and verify daily timesheet adjustments via Etivity;
  • Coordinate short notice sick leave replacement;
  • Coordination and distribution of rosters;
  • Analyse rostered hours to ensure adherence with the enterprise agreement and contracted hours;
  • Approve timesheets for the Pay Office;
  • Manage staff enquiries regarding rosters and changes to rosters;
  • Support collection staff with daytoday operational matters and general helpdesk enquires;
  • Build relationships with staff to support operations and service excellence; and
  • Assist with daytoday workflow as required.

Applicants should possess the following:

  • Previous experience rostering or managing rosters;
  • Proficient with the use of eCollect, Apollo and Apollo results Gui;
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite with intermediate or advanced skills in Excel;
  • Ability to prioritise work and meet deadlines;
  • Demonstrated attention to detail;
  • Demonstrated excellent customer service and interpersonal skills;
  • Proven ability to work independently and identify efficiencies and improvements;
  • Polished and professional telephone manner;
  • Ability to communicate in a concise and articulate manner;
  • Ability to work in a team environment and, when required, to work autonomously;
  • Ability to work flexible hours across the department as required;
  • Ability to interpret instructions and provide feedback to ensure systems, procedures and processes are maintained at the highest standard; and
  • You will be required to receive the COVID 19 vaccination including booster in order to perform this role and provide copy of certificate.
