The Learning and Development Manager is a pivotal role responsible for overseeing leadership and technical development initiatives.

Combining the responsibilities of an L&D Manager and a technical training manager, this position drives the growth and effectiveness of employees at all levels.


Reporting directly to the Group Chief People Officer (CPO), you will work closely with the Business Units, State and Operations Managers, and HR Managers.


  • Develop and deliver national training programs, including leadership and management development initiatives.
  • Collaborate with business leaders to develop a bestinclass Apprenticeship development program.
  • Create clear learning and future leader programs.
  • Identify highpotential employees and create tailored development plans.
  • Build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders and external training providers.

What We're Looking For:

  • Degree qualified Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
  • Proven experience performing and facilitating training activities in a large organisation.
  • Significant experience in training course development, and delivery.
  • Experience in managing, coaching, and developing senior managers, department heads, and operational employees.
  • The ability to manage several conflicting projects at once.
