Due to our clients continued growth we are in need of an experienced Passive Fire Technicians to work in Sydney.

Our client is a market leader that provides advanced fire protection products and systems to a range of industries.

This position for a Passive Fire Technician is to inspect and test, repair and defect portable fire equipment, fire and smoke doors and building passive elements when required as defined under Building Code of Australia and other Statutory Authorities.

Effectively undertake programmed maintenance inspections and related works as directed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out regular repair, upgrade, testing and rectification works to existing doors
  • Provide upgrade and maintenance works to other passive equipment such as fire dampers, walls and ceilings
  • Liaise with highprofile clients and ensure smooth work process
  • Escalate any issues to your dedicated Manager who will be on offer to support
  • Work across mainly the Sydney Metro Region
  • Servicing of fire protection equipment to our clients standard
  • Mentor junior technicians
  • Timely completion of planned inspection and test routines on customer equipment
  • Deliver excellence customer service expectations at every available opportunity
  • To assist in sales growth for the company
  • Complete reports

What you require to succeed in this role:

  • At least 3 years of relevant experience in a similar role
  • The relevant trade certifications
  • Problem and fault solving skills
  • Ability to communicate well with clients
  • Customer service driven attitude
  • Drivers Licence.
