***This is an exciting opportunity for a Cashier and Administration Assistant seeking a long-term commitment to join a high performing, fast faced and energetic team in Sydney.

What will my day to day look like?
***
Cashier

  • Maintenance of clean and tidy cashroom
  • Diligent processing of all cash payments into payment machines
  • Notation of receipt numbers to align with sales invoices
  • Use of cash counters with customers to validate cash received
  • Maintenance and daily sign off on till/cashfloat
  • Accurate dispatch of precious metals to cash customers
  • Liaison with dispatch team to access product where necessary
  • Ensure cash machine reporting
  • Maintenance of daily excel file recording cash physically held in envelopes
  • Placement of receipts into dated envelope for distribution to finance
  • Placement of card payment receipts into dated envelope for distribution to finance

Dispatch

  • Accurate dispatch and receipt of metal to staff collecting metal
  • Updating records to reflect dispatch and receipt of metal
  • Liaison with cashroom staff
  • Assistance and sign off on daily stocktakes
  • Assistance with receipt and counting of physical products delivered

Administration

  • Respond to customer account enquiries regarding set up, account documentation
  • Manage customer profile set up, cancellation and amendments
  • Manage loading of banking data to facilitate transactions
  • Customer liaison to confirm banking details where needed

What skills and experience do I need?
No precious metals experience necessary But an interest in Luxury goods would be beneficial


You have proven customer service experience ideally within the Retail or Hospitality industry with the ability to manage administration and operations tasks.


You also have:

  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Strong multitasking skills in a busy and fastpaced environment
  • Positive 'can do' attitude, and a team player
