As a Disability Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing essential services such as in-home support, community access, transportation, education modules, and respite overnight trips.

We are currently seeking passionate individuals to join our team in casual roles.

Requirements:

  • Possession of a current senior first aid certificate or willingness to obtain one.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated empathy and a sincere desire to make a difference.
  • Basic technology skills or a willingness to learn.
  • Access to a reliable motor vehicle and flexibility to travel within the Blue Mountains region.
  • Reliability is crucial.
  • Emotional intelligence, awareness and resilience is desirable.
  • Strong team focus, must be a team player.
  • Have self initiative to be able to work alone and keep active within shifts.
  • Strong commitment to shifts with the participants you work with.
  • Willingness to work in all areas of disabilities including personal care.

Highly desirable:

  • CERT III/IV in disabilities or community service
  • Nursing and/or Mental health qualifications
  • Social Science qualifications and/or experience
We offer flexible shifts throughout the week, seeking applicants committed to maintaining consistent availability.
