About the Role:
We are seeking a talented and motivated Marketing and Ecosystem Engagement Contractor to join our team. This role is pivotal in promoting our portfolio and founders both online and offline.
In this role, you will be required to undertake the following duties:
- Develop and implement comprehensive marketing and communication strategies with a strong focus on digital and social media channels that enhance the visibility of our portfolio and founders in the entrepreneurial ecosystem.
- Foster strong relationships with key ecosystem players, including investors, media, industry influencers, and potential partners, to create opportunities for our founders and startups.
- Organize and participate in networking events, workshops, and conferences, both virtually and inperson, to promote our accelerator and its portfolio companies.
- Coordinate media for venues including writing release, content film/photo shoots and stimulating editorial.
- Coordinate with founders to understand their unique stories and business propositions, translating these into compelling narratives for a wide range of audiences.
- Monitor and analyze the effectiveness of marketing strategies, providing regular reports to the management team and adjusting tactics as necessary to meet objectives.
- Develop and coordinate writing, scheduling, execution and reporting of all customer relationship management (CRM) tactics for Hampton's startup portfolios.
- Pitch Creation and Public Speaking Advisory for Startup Founders.
To be successful in this role you would need to possess the following:
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in marketing communications, public relations, or ecosystem engagement, preferably within the startup, VC, or tech sectors.
- Strong networking skills with a proven track record of building and maintaining relationships with a variety of stakeholders.
- Experience in digital and social marketing to include strategic and creative development, community engagement and content production;
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to craft engaging content and presentations.
- A proactive, creative, and entrepreneurial mindset, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility and adaptability to work in a fastpaced, dynamic environment.
- Willingness to travel for networking events and meetings with ecosystem players and startups.
