St Mary's Primary School Moruya is situated in close proximity to the majestic Moruya River and is surrounded by beautiful grazing land. Moruya is the traditional home of the Brinja-Yuin people from the southern side of the Moruya River and the Walbanga-Yuin from the northern side of the Moruya River. About the role

St Mary's Primary School has an opportunity for a Principal to join the School. The Principal is required to lead dedicated staff to engage with students, families, and friends and work together to provide the best learning outcomes for students. At St Mary's, the Principal has the privilege to lead 23 staff in a school with student enrolments of 187*.

  • Demonstrated capacity to plan and manage resources effectively and equitably to improve teaching and learning
  • strong interpersonal skills and effective change agent with the ability to influence across a wide range of stakeholders including parents, other systemic principals, Catholic Education personnel and external stakeholders
  • Demonstrated ability to meet the five leadership practices of our Leadership Framework as outlined in the Principal Applicant Pack.
  • Be accredited, or willing to undergo accreditation, in accordance with the Accreditation to Work, Teach and Lead Policy in Catholic Education, Canberra and Goulburn.
