The Leaders


This opportunity reports through to the Head of HR who is considered an influential leader with a wealth of experience in the financial services sector.

Their collaborative approach allows their team to operate and deliver on their strengths while also providing stretch opportunities for professional and personal development.

You will join a talented P&C team in Sydney that sits as part of the global P&C team who are passionate about what they do and are at the forefront of P&C practices.


The Opportunity


As the HR Business Partner, you will form relationships with senior leaders in Australia and other regions to provide strategic advice on people related initiatives and influence outcomes.

You'll also work closely with people-leaders and their teams to coach, guide and provide advice to uplift capability and ensure your client group is performing at its best.


Leading the annual and cyclical HR activities will be a key focus, in particular remuneration reviews and talent/succession planning, which includes working with leaders in international regions.

The key aspects of this role is a genuine blend of operational and strategic work which extends to:

  • Partner with business leaders to implement the People Plan
  • Coach managers and senior leaders through organisational issues, talent strategies, and leadership development
  • Advise and coach managers across performance management and other employee relations matters and highlight best practice
  • Deliver key people related initiatives such as performance reviews, talent reviews, succession planning and remuneration reviews
  • Act as the key point of contact for your client group on all HR related matters
  • Support enterprisewide changes including organisational redesign and job architecture
  • Work closely with the regional HR teams on people related matters and advise firforpurpose solutions
  • Drive a collaborative, diverse and inclusive culture that upholds organisational values.

About You


Key to success will be your experience working within the financial services industry, with experience partnering with regional teams and leaders.

You will have proven experience working in a true HR business partnering role to support a dedicated client group on the end-to-end employee lifecycle.

You will be comfortable in leading initiatives such as remuneration reviews and influencing outcomes with senior leaders.

Finally, you will be tech savvy; comfortable navigating the MS Office Suite and enjoy collaborating within a dynamic and down-to-earth people team
