The Role

This opportunity involves collaborating with the Head of Operational Resilience to implement the Business Recovery and Crisis Management aspects of the Business Resilience Framework at Insignia Financial. The goal is to ensure the organization is well-prepared to handle disruptions and uphold a business resilience program that safeguards the interests of clients and members in accordance with licensing requirements for APRA regulated entities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the development and implementation of yearly programs for the Business Recovery and Crisis Management components of the Business Resilience Framework at Insignia Financial.
  • Design and deliver Business Continuity and Crisis Management training sessions.
  • Offer expert advice, challenge, and insights to assist Business Continuity plan owners and coordinators in meeting their obligations.
  • Collaborate with the business to review Business Recovery and Crisis plans, conduct relevant scenario testing and exercises, with a customer-centric approach to decision-making.
  • Assist in executing the crisis management team (CMT) training and exercising initiatives.
  • Provide guidance to the CMT during incident responses and crises, and aid in conducting post-incident debriefs.
  • Support the adoption of the new standard on Operational Resilience CPS230.
  • Engage with the facilities team to oversee and report on emergency management compliance and capability programs.

To excel in this role you will need:

  • Appropriate professional or tertiary qualifications and/or relevant industry experience within a workplace setting.
  • Demonstrated experience as a Senior Manager implementing enterprise Business resilience frameworks in a large multi-site organization.
  • Extensive expertise in BRM design and implementation throughout the organization, in alignment with ISO Standards.
  • Proven knowledge and experience in Business Resilience and Crisis Management.
  • Effective communication skills, ability to build trusted relationships, and offer expert advice to stakeholders up to General Manager and Executive levels.
