What are we looking for?

We have an exciting opportunity for a Junior Legal Assistant to join our Medical Law team in Epping. The position is permanent full time. This role will have you responsible for providing support to our busy team, with ongoing training and development. Your daily duties will include:

  • Providing a great level of care and support to our clients in a professional manner
  • Building strong relationships with our clients, internal and external stakeholders
  • Supporting the team with general file management and administration
  • Coordinating appointments for our lawyers, medico-legal appointments for our clients, conferences and mediations
  • Communicating with clients, insurers and other professionals both in writing and verbally

What will you bring?

Ideally you will have previous experience as an assistant, personal assistant or legal secretary, particularly in the area of personal injury law, together with the following skills and attributes:

  • Exceptional communication and customer service skills
  • A willingness to learn
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Demonstrated organisation skills and the ability to multi-task
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as in a team environment
  • Proactive approach and initiative
  • A willingness to learn
  • Available to work 38 hours per week, between the hours of 8:30am - 5pm Monday to Friday
