About the role
Support and work alongside the Finance Manager as well as other members of the Executive Leadership team in this hands on role that will see you support the delivery of day to day business operations.
With a focus on productivity and efficiency, this is a varied role that encompasses a range of finance and administrative tasks.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist to implement effective business and governance processes that will help improve day to day operations
- Maintain and update internal documents, policies and registers
- Assist with the preparation of ad hoc reports (corporate reporting, compliance reporting)
- Xero receipting, invoice tracking, uploading and reconciling
- Reconcile and maintain the corporate asset register
- Day to day duties that relate to office management
Skills, Experience and Attributes
- Though not essential, this role would suit a graduate with up to 2 years' experience. Your studies would be in a related discipline such as finance, accounting or business.
- This role will grow and evolve so you need to be adaptable to change
- You will work with a Manager who has a nurturing leadership style, in return you will seek to ask questions and be open to feedback
- You are eager to learn, and your attitude is one that is positive and enthusiastic
- This is very much a 'hands on' role and though there will be plenty of scope to take on some key projects you also need to be happy to do some of the more basic, entry level work (which will also help you get your head around the business)
- You have exceptional communication skills with the ability to build rapport with natural ease
