Our client a leading Canberra based business with a wonderful history and a number of successful sites.

We are currently sourcing a committed and resourceful individual to join their team in a newly created role as a Parts interpreter.


The Role:


This is a new role that has just been created and Ideally the Parts Interpreter will have previous experience and/or a strong interest in European vehicles, namely VW, Audi and Porsche You will make the role your own, as well as have a willingness to collaborate with all relevant areas of the business.

You will be customer focussed and possess a can-do attitude.

Your core duties & responsibilities will include:

  • Handle incoming customer queries in regard to spare parts via phone, or in person.
  • Ordering parts for urgent matters and situations, when required.
  • Organise, follow up quotations and all associated administration to ensure that parts are accurately priced, ordered, despatched and invoiced ensure of a profitable, responsive and professional department.
  • Generate spare parts business by associated selling and advising customers of Promotions.
  • Be Proactive, call on customers if required to promote the sale of spare parts.
  • Organise and consolidate the maintenance of all parts and associated technical data, contributing to delivering simplified data to manage stock effectively and deliver improved levels of customer service.
  • Participate and assist with stocktakes to ensure that actual stock levels are verified against system records to contribute to the preparation of accurate, timely annual company accounts.

What you will need to succeed:
***- Proven experience in a similar role in an automotive environment, predominantly in spare parts and accessories.

  • Ability to Demonstrate a broad understanding of the sector. (European made including VW, Audi and Porsche is highly desired)
  • Demonstrated experience in inventory management, highlighting organisational skills.
