We are on a journey of growth and seeking adept engineers to join our team of over 300 power professionals. By becoming a part of our team, you will engage in various projects both in Australia and overseas. We are on the lookout for experienced and motivated Battery Energy Storage Specialists from all over Australia.

These positions present a wide array of responsibilities, including:

  • A variety of BESS projects, such as grid-scale, hybrid, and off-grid projects
  • Contributing to GHD's Business Development endeavors
  • Providing and assessing technical counsel on option analysis reports, conceptual and detailed designs, scope of works, cost estimates, cost modeling, and delivery plans
  • Collaborating with our local and international teams to execute a diverse range of projects

What skills and qualities are we looking for in you?

  • Tertiary Engineering qualifications
  • 5+ years of professional experience in an engineering setting
  • Considerable experience in BESS design and project delivery, preferably in a consultancy environment
  • A solid track record in delivering grid-scale BESS projects
  • Thorough comprehension of the relevant standards and regulations for BESS projects
  • Familiarity with grid ancillary services and the market dynamics pertinent to BESS projects
  • Knowledge of diverse battery technologies, including flow battery technologies
  • Relevant business development skills and a strong network in the market
  • Ability to autonomously handle complex large-scale projects and a consistent history of successful project completions
  • Effective communication skills for client interactions
