Theprimary responsibility of theSignalingand Infrastructure Lead - ANZ is to manage the bids and projects portfolio for thediscipline, including the tender and projects processes for scope.

This would include building and managing a team to be accountable for the deployment of tenders and project delivery.

Responsibilities:

  • Execution of the projects in the portfolio to enable creation ofoptimaland profitable value for Ricardo.
  • Manage and deploy Tender and Bid Deliverables
  • Execution and Management of Business developmentinitiatives encompassing Signalling, Infrastructure, and Rolling Stock integration servicessecuringnewprojects
  • This includes providingsignallingand infrastructureconcept design services with a focus on operational and maintenance considerations.
Evaluatingand introducingproducts relevant to signalling and infrastructuremarket segment fromthe broader market andfromthe Ricardo portfolio.

  • Interface with the widerBUmanagement team to report, and mange risks and various issuesregardingtenders and projects within the services scope.
  • Building andleadingaprojects team that is accountable for Quality, Cost, Delivery and Performance.
  • Champion the implementation of Signallingand InfrastructureProcesses across the portfolio.
  • Robust understanding ofSystem engineering and integration services across the railway industry with afocus on automatic train operations andcontrol
  • Knowledgeable and demonstrablesuccess in Project andBid Management
  • Demonstrated experience in a Senior Leadership position, in the development of a servicesorganisation.
  • Good Commercial Acumen, ability tomaximiseopportunities thatbenefitsboth client andRicardo
  • Strong Influencing and Negotiation skills, experience in a BusinessDevelopment role
  • Build and drive productive,collaborativeand cooperative relationships with a wide variety ofstakeholders,partnersand service providers to ensure best practice projectmanagement
  • Customer Focused mindsetable toprovidedirect strategic advice and guidance to the clientsbest practicefrom arailnetworkperspective.
  • Project management, systems engineering, concept development, operations & maintenance advice
  • Knowledge and demonstrable experience ofappropriate projectmanagement techniques
  • Highly numerate and analytical, with an ability to translate project and business data into tangible insights andrecommendations
  • Good awareness of project management processes and data, able to supportothers indeveloping theseskillsets

Requirements:

  • 15+ years in railway rail infrastructure management and/or rail consultancy
  • 10+ years' experience inaexternally facingleadership role
  • Tertiary degreequalifications inEngineering
  • Additional Diploma or Master of Project Management preferred
  • Excellent relationship building, communication and interpersonalskills
  • Ability to provide situational leadership, seeking opportunities for the widerbusiness
