The Awareness and Engagement Unit (AEU) develops and implements awareness, education and engagement strategies that make a real, positive difference to work health and safety, electrical safety, workers' compensation and industrial relations issues for the people of Queensland.
As part of the Marketing Communications team, you'll contribute to, and lead where required, the development, implementation and evaluation of education, awareness and engagement activities and resources that deliver key messages to diverse audiences, supporting agency and whole of government strategic priorities and business needs.
Examples could include the development of short guidance films, stakeholder engagement events, development of communication plans and tactics, supporting on flagship campaign activities, preparing engaging written content for a variety of mediums and building strong and productive relationships with our many client areas ensuring evidence-based, accurate and contemporary communication advice.
You'll also:
- Support other AEU team members in implementing awareness and stakeholder engagement activities.
- Provide accurate and timely advice to the Manager on project progress and issues that may impact on service delivery.
- Actively engage in a multidisciplinary, agile team environment.
- Ensure work is of a professional, consistent quality, to budget and in accordance with AEU standard operating procedures and governance, and Queensland Government writing and style guides.
