About the role:

We're on the hunt for a
Campaign Creative Writer to join The Studio team based in
Adelaide. This role is responsible for successful outputs in creative writing for the Creative team of The Studio.

It requires collaboration with the whole Studio Creative Team in receiving, interpreting and responding to Campaign Creative briefs/production requests from direct clients and agency partners in market.


This role requires successful collaboration between the other members of The Studio to ensure the Creative Team is working effectively with the Campaign Ideas/Solutions Team.


What you'll be doing:

  • Interpret a brief to write advertising commercials for SCA's existing and prospective clients
  • Oversee the production of commercials and adherence to quality standards and ACMA guidelines
  • Work with Account Management and The Studio teams to create best quality creative to present to market
  • Work calmly under pressure to deliver required creative on time, and to the expected standard
  • Manage time effectively to maximize quality and quantity of creative output
  • Keep an organised overview of creative output, knowing where any job is up to at any given time
  • Participate in regular onsite and offsite sessions relating to the national function of The Studio
  • Create and develop proactive demo commercials as directed by Campaign Ideas team and Lead Creative Manager
  • Liaise with clients to take creative briefs and present creative ideas with Account Managers and The Studio team members
  • Collaborate with the Creative Team locally and nationally to create proactive ideas and concepts that support the Account Management team
  • Adopt new technology to drive creative proactivity and excellence, such as Veritonic, interactive, dynamic & contextual targeting, 3D audio and smart speakers. Promote and drive creative innovation both internally and externally
  • Manage the voiceover budget and ensure invoices are processed in a timely manner
  • Book and direct voiceover sessions

Experience we're looking for:

years successful radio writing experience is desired
years customer focused background is desired

  • A thorough working knowledge of all relevant rules and regulations
  • Exceptional spelling and grammar skills
  • Basic computer skills
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Experience in directing/casting voice talent
