A brand new medical centre is opening in Forest Glen and is seeking a team of casual medical receptionists for varying hours.


Key requirements:

  • Previous experience with Best Practice and medical reception experience
  • Manage appointment schedules
  • Working knowledge of Medicare item numbers for general practice
  • Assisting clients with booking appointments with specialists and other providers
  • Work effectively within a team and also able to work independently
  • Possess a strong work ethic
  • Display a friendly, professional manner via phone and with patients in the clinic setting
  • Able to multitask and display fantastic organisational skills

Responsibilities:

  • Scheduling appointments and processing payments
  • Banking
  • Organising incoming correspondence and directing to the appropriate health professional
  • Liaising with patients and their families and assisting with arrangements for their care
  • Assisting our GP's and allied health providers with required administration tasks


Please note, shifts will vary between 7am - 7pm weekdays, and you will need to be available to cover weekends on a rotating roster.
