Castle Hill Medical Centre provides comprehensive services to the Hills area and surrounding districts.

The practice has 22 GP's, a large nursing department, a generous patient services team, X-ray facilities, pathology, and many multidisciplinary team members.


About the role
We are looking for an experienced ward clerk/receptionist to join our Nursing Team. You will provide a high level of support to our Patients, GPs and Nurses.

Applicants must be efficient, hardworking, and reliable with previous experience in general practice desirable.

The responsibilities of the role include:

  • Manage appointment schedules and billings for patients and GPs for the preventative health department
  • Work with patients, GPs and Nursing team to facilitate appointments

You will need:

  • Previous experience in a receptionist role
  • Experience in Microsoft Outlook and Word
  • Ability to work autonomously.
  • Ability to learn patient management system software e.g., Best Practice
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent multitasking skills
  • Ability to work in a multidisciplinaryteam
  • Commitment to patient confidentiality

Job Type:
Part-time

Part-time hours: 12.5 per week

Schedule:

  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Castle Hill: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Education:

  • GCSE or equivalent (preferred)

Experience:

Medical Receptionist: 1 year (preferred)
