The School of Health Sciences, one of four Schools within the College of Health, Medicine, and Wellbeing, excels in the teaching of allied health professionals and includes the disciplines of Physiotherapy, Medical Radiation Sciences (

MRS:
Diagnostic Radiography, Nuclear Medicine, and Radiation Therapy), Nutrition and Dietetics, Workplace Health and Safety, Occupational Therapy, Oral Health Therapy, Podiatry and Speech Pathology. The disciplines within the School achieve a balance between advancing the professional research profile of their respective areas and working together to educate future health care workers in a multi

The Role
This is a teaching role within Medical Radiation Sciences (MRS).

In this role you will:

  • Focus on clinical education by coordinating and developing researchled teaching in the undergraduate Medical Radiation Sciences (MRS) program
  • Coordinate and manage highquality professional practice education
  • Develop and maintain positive and constructive relationships with students, academic and professional staff, and external stakeholders
This is a 5-year fixed-term opportunity, primarily based at the Callaghan Campus on Awabakal country.

How will you become part of our community?

  • A degree in Medical Radiation Sciences
  • Eligibility for AHPRA registration as a Medical Radiation Practitioner as a Diagnostic Radiographer
  • At least 5 years relevant clinical experience with CT capability
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate sensitively and confidentially
  • Excellence collaborating with multiple stakeholders, ability to build and maintain quality relationships in all aspects of your work
  • Ability to achieve teaching quality

The remuneration for this position is Level A + 17% superannuation.
