About the Role


The Community Venues Officer plays a key role in supporting and connecting our local organisations, businesses, social groups and casual hirers to a range of venues across the Manningham area.


In a given day, you can look to visit multiple venues across the Manningham locale, supporting seniors groups, casual hirers and local business bookings through facility upkeep, cleaning, equipment set and and pack down.


Skills and Experience

  • Strong, professional focus on customer service and guest satisfaction
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, communication, time management skills and the flexibility to work across a rotating roster; which may include split shifts, early mornings or evenings as required
  • Weekend work will feature heavily in this role, therefore availability across Saturday/Sunday is required
  • Capable of moving furniture and equipment as well as the ability to set up audio visual systems (e.g. projectors, laptops, microphones).
  • Experienced in cleaning, general maintenance and upkeep of venues/facilities or similar spaces greatly desirable
  • Current Drivers Licence valid in Victoria with access to own vehicle is required
