Your New Role:
In this newly created role as our
Mental Health Clinical Educator, you will join our Learning & Development team and working closely with our Virtual Health Team.
You will report to the Head of Clinical Pathways & Learning with a dotted line to our Mental Health Clinical Lead, where you will support our Mental Health services with clinical training across ongoing induction programs, professional development, and clinical supervision requirements.
You will work closely with our Senior Learning & Development Specialist, our frontline mental health workers, as well as many internal and external stakeholders supporting the Home Health platform.
This role can be based in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane or Adelaide.You will have flexibility to work a hybrid work model with office days worked from our Spring Street (Melbourne), City or Parramatta (Sydney), Adelaide Street (Brisbane) or Pirie Street (Adelaide) sites.
Duties of your new role**:
- Develop and implement Coach traineeship supporting our Mental Health Services including Beyond Blue, MindStep & HealingMinds programs.
- Develop clinical training for induction supporting our Mental Health services within our Home Health platform.
- Coordinate & provide professional development training for our frontline Mental Health workers
- Develop aligned inhouse training content for our Mental Health services.
- Support the development and implementation of clinical supervision framework within Mental Health.
About you:
- 5+ years' experience as a Mental Health accredited clinician (Psychologist, Social Worker, Mental Health RN or Occupational Therapist)
- Registration / Membership with relevant professional body (AHPRA / AASW / AMHSW)
- Minimum 5 years' Clinical Supervision experience with a range of health professionals (qualification is highly desirable)
- Experience working with Indigenous and culturally diverse people (Desirable)
- Proven experience in leading and implementing learning and development processes
- Experience driving and facilitating high quality training initiatives across different delivery methods (including online)
